Peach Tree Perinatal Wellness t/a Centre of Perinatal Lived Experience
Peach Tree is the largest employer of perinatal mental health lived experience (peer) workers in Australia. We have over a decade of experience in mobilising a lived experience workforce. This expertise is woven throughout Peach Tree at governance, operations and practice levels.
Our Story
Peach Tree was started by two mothers whose lives had been profoundly impacted by experiences of mental health challenges through pregnancy, birth and the early parenthood years. Over the last 14 years, as we designed and delivered a peer led service, it was necessary for us to simultaneously focus on workforce development. We have now established C-PLEx as a platform to offer training and other professional services to expand and strengthen lived experience workforce in the perinatal mental health specialisation.

We are a committed team with extensive experience in perinatal mental health lived experience work.
We also have deep connections with the sector, workforce and wider lived experience (consumer) movement.
Our team has extensive experience and expertise across all aspects of lived experience work in the mental health system, including peer support, reflective practice, policy advice, research and evaluation, training/education, professional consultancy, leadership and governance.
